At Education Nation in Rockefeller Center, we helped thousands of people find out how they learn. On a touch-screen kiosk we invited a delightful way to take a potentially mundane survey. The experience begins by meeting Ubiq, a planet-like character, that describes how we learn differently. The survey is then spread across the surface of the planet. As you answer questions you fly around its circumference. At the end, Ubiq describes how you learn best - it is often through a combination of inputs.
And then we helped Manhattan learn. We created 7 stations all over New York City, with everyday learning experiences taught by subject matter experts, based on the learning styles. The stations demonstrated that learning can happen anywhere, everywhere, and anytime.
